A Grand Rising
The phrase grand rising is used by some people when they wake up in the morning or the first time they see someone during the day. It is used instead of the words “good morning.” There is nothing “wrong” with saying good morning, but declaring a grand rising is a powerful way to begin your day and greet others.
Beginning with the word “grand” indicates something bigger than waking up in the morning is happening. Rising is about the soul rising up and into the world for this glorious day!
When sleeping, our physical bodies and conscious mind are in a state of rest. It is believed that our subconscious and unconscious minds are traveling, along with the soul, to other realms.
If you accept this as truth in your understanding of sleep, saying “grand rising” is giving thanks for your return to your body after being away for so long doing the excellent work of emotional, physical, and spiritual healing of body, mind, and soul. Grand rising is a celebration of the act of the body, mind, and spirit holistically rising.
Our 2024 Awakening Ways Center for Spiritual Living theme is “A Grand Rising.” We ended the month of January with the topic of feeling good. It feels good to greet the day and the rest of the year with a grand rising. Who you are makes a difference. Your consciousness matters. Your way of being wherever you find yourself affects you, those around you and those around them, and so forth.
We can no longer afford to pretend like we are isolated beings. There is one thing happening here, and it is the Divine. The Divine is all. It goes before me, behind me, beside me, all around me, and it is within me. Its favor shines upon me, in my coming and going, in my weeping and rejoicing. It is with me always. It is with you always. It is with you. It is for you.
We are on the precipice of a significant global shift, energetically, spiritually, and cosmically speaking. All aboard the train of holistically rising into our radiant, spiritual magnificence! Your time is now. The wait is over.
Isn’t it comforting to know that the Universe is always conspiring for your highest and greatest good? Even when you think it is not! You came across this article at the right and perfect time. Now is the best moment for your shift in perspective to reveal a personal grand rising in your life.
I invite you to practice speaking these words aloud daily with conviction for the next week: “Rise up, my soul. Quicken me with heavenly fervor. Speak words that make people glad, happy, loved, and connected. Show me the finished kingdom through which I walk. I have the power and strength of Spirit within me; it is mine to use, so I use it. Now is the time for my grand rising.”
Grand rising.
And so it is.
