You Are Whole
Ernest Holmes observed, “The spark which burns at the center of our own soul is caught from the living and eternal flame of Spirit.” The quote suggests that the essence within us, often called the soul, is connected to a timeless and spiritual source. The “living and eternal flame of Spirit” implies a divine, unending force from which our inner spark originates. It conveys the idea that our essence is a reflection or manifestation of a greater, enduring spiritual energy.
It’s up to us to recognize, nurture, and express this Divine spark of wholeness ever available to us. We can kindle this flame by living from our own Divine Center, identifying it in others, working for it in our community and the world, and looking to the way-showers to inspire and guide us.
Let’s be honest, though. Sometimes, we forget who we are and fall into a trance of consumerism or give in to the seductive ways of the ego. Understanding the ultimate emptiness of those we return to Source energy at the center of our being. Here, we find the richness and majesty of the inner realm, the kingdom of heaven within us.
Ernest Holmes also observed, “Every person represents an individualization of universal Wholeness; the love, peace, joy, and freedom of Spirit. The Power of the Spirit expresses through every atom of our being now, this moment.”
You are a unique manifestation of the universal essence, embodying qualities like love, peace, joy, and freedom. The power of the spiritual realm is actively present in every aspect of your existence, unfolding in the present moment. You are one with the One!
When a jewel is buried in the ground, it does not lose color. You can dig it up and hold it to the light, and it will glow as radiantly as before buried. Wholeness is who you are, beneath all the life experiences that may have hidden it from you. Today is your day to glow radiantly with the awareness of this truth.
Speak the words aloud, gladly, with conviction, “I am whole. I am perfect. I am complete.” Make it a mantra for yourself and observe how your entire life reflects your wholeness and connection with the cosmos. You get to choose what to believe. I believe you are not broken or damaged. Instead, you are in complete and harmonious unity with all of life. Do you believe that?
Albert Einstein observed, “The most important decision we make is whether we believe we live in a friendly or hostile universe…. your answer will determine your life.”
Whether you perceive the universe as friendly or hostile, it shapes your outlook on life. This fundamental belief influences decisions and, ultimately, the course of your life. When you see the world as friendly, it fosters a more positive and optimistic approach to challenges. The reward is a rich, technicolor life of radiant goodness beyond your wildest imagination.
What do you believe?
And so it is.
