About the Movie:
The Best of Enemies is based on the true story of the unlikely friendship between civil rights activist Ann Atwater and Ku Klux Klan leader C.P. Ellis during the 1971 desegregation of schools in Durham, North Carolina. This thought-provoking film explores how courage, compassion, and open dialogue can lead to unexpected transformation, even in the face of deep-seated prejudice.
